The Viprominent HT80 Executive is the summit of large format manual printing tables. The machine is equipped with a motor driven horizontal lift of the print head. The lifting arms on the sides are positioned far back to facilitate easy loading and unloading of materials to be printed. The Viprominent HT80 Executive distinguishes itself by an extremely stable, light running squeegee carriage that is guided through a rail system at the front- and backside of the upper frame. The pneumatic lifting and lowering of the squeegee, raising of the print head and the squeegee turnover before and after the printing stroke are all made by a simple push of the button in the squeegee arm. With the HT80 Executive, the printing force is no longer applied by the printer, but through pneumatic cylinders. This means that you may expect identical printing results throughout the day. Misprints caused by variations in printing pressure due to operator fatigue are no longer an issue. With an easy push of the hand the squeegee carriage moves along the support rails. All necessary adjustments can be made without the use of any special tools. Because of the larger maximum print size, the HT80 Executive Jumbo is constructed even more solid. The machine prints from left to right as standard.
The print head is electrically raised by a push of a button in the squeegee arm. Lifting and lowering of the squeegee as well as squeegee change-over at the end of the printing stroke are all initiated by pressing a single tumble switch at the base of the squeegee arm. To physically protect the printer, lowering of the print head can only be done by pressing two switches in the machine chassis at the same time (two-hand-safety).
A control panel in the left frame leg incorporates among others the controls for motorized central off-contact adjustment.
The screen can be slid inside the screen holder bars from the front with little effort and may somewhat extend the print head at the front and rear. An important advantage is that at removing the ink, the screen may extend the machine largely and thus is accessible on three sides. Two screen holder bars support the screen and can be located anywhere over the print area. Due to this flexibility, a large variety of screen sizes can be used accordingly. Mechanical quick locking provides a secure fixation of the screen and contributes to reduce the change-over time.
The lifting arms are positioned so far back that there is full clearance of the complete vacuum area at the front and both sides of the machine (only at 1220mm printing width). This feature largely facilitates easy handling of substrates under the screen, cleaning etc.
In open position, the print head raises high up and at the same time moves backwards. This makes the screen well accessible underneath and makes cleaning and making adjustments to the screen much more comfortable.
A positive acting hardened register knife ensures long lasting tight registration. The mechanical register repeatability is better than 0,10 mm.
The Vipro HT80 Executive has a durable hard anodized, thick skin aluminum printing table. The extra dense internal honeycomb structure gives the table its exceptional flatness and rigidity. Depending on the maximum printing size, the machine has up to 5 silent, yet powerful vacuum motors. The honeycomb is drilled twice (crosswise) for a quick acting vacuum action.
For the same reason there are multiple vacuum connections underneath the printing table; they are mounted such that the vacuum force comes up in the center and flattens the substrate from the center out to the substrate edge. Possible wrinkles in the substrate are effectively flattened. The vacuum action is synchronized with the lifting and lowering of the print head.
Accurate register is obtained by moving the printing table in the solid machine chassis rather than the screen. For this purpose the table can be positioned by means of three play-free micro adjusters for X, Y direction and rotation (theta).
The off-contact distance can be accurately set by pressing the tumble switch on the control panel. The off-contact is adjusted by an electromotor at all 4 corners of the printing table simultaneously. This ensures an even off-contact distance all over the printing area at all times. The maximum off-contact is 25mm as standard, but can be optionally increased to a total of 40mm.
The HT80 Executive has a heavy duty squeegee carriage that has been chrome plated for easy cleaning. Viprotech B-type (40 mm) squeegees are used.

Optional lift-off system ensures proper separation of the mesh with the printed substrate by lifting one side of the screen while the print stroke progresses from left to right.
The actual squeegee pressure can be set by mechanical squeegee height adjusters.
Emergency stop buttons are located around the machine perimeter to stop the machine and avert imminent danger. Mechanical safety screens restrict access to potential dangerous locations.
The machine bears the European mandatory CE-mark; a “CE II-A declaration of accordance” and an operator manual in the English are supplied, as well as a double set of electrical and pneumatic diagrams and part lists.
